Painted Images includes photographs that have been combined with overlays made from traditional art mediums; either acrylic, watercolor or pastel sketches. Each photograph is paired with one type of overlay to specifically enhance the aesthetic aspect of the photograph’s subject. The intention is to liberate the mundane object and bring forth its innate pathos, something never intended by its utilitarian origins.
